Marcia Harvey is a creative based in Denver whose work primarily focuses on themes such as transformation, empowerment, and the macabre. As a queer, gender fluid, black woman in America, her focus is to illuminate the struggle and beauty of the many intersectional elements in her life. Some sources of inspiration for Marcia include Gustav Klimt, Peter Chung, Bill Sienkiewicz, Audrey Kawasaki, and tons of sci-fi literature. Marcia started pursuing art as a career possibility after graduating from RMCAD in 2014. Her mediums of choice consist of oil painting, embroidery, and digital art.
